The grapes for this wine are grown on the Taylor familys estate, Clare Valleys largest largest family-owned winery, which today has over 400ha of vines. The winery was named after the Wakefield river which flows past the first vineyards purchased by the Taylors in 1969. A deep and inky wine with youthful purple tinges.
