The compact and lightweight Sigma 19mm f/2.8 EX DN lens is a specially designed lens for compact system cameras. It has a 38mm equivalent focal length (equivalent to 35mm format).The optical arrangement has been carefully devised and includes three aspherical glass mould elements for correction of distortion and curvature of field. The Inner Focus system gives improved focus accuracy and consistent control of aberrations throughout the zoom range. Focus is actuated by a linear AF motor which negates the need for gears, therefore making this quiet lens ideal for video recording.
