Just 10.6mm up from the reflector head is a new, patent pending three-way switch for any occasion: when the switch cap is fully screwed into the main body, the Inova X5 Torch is constantly on. One-half a counter-clockwise twist enables the intermittent mode (simply press and hold the rubber button for as long as light is required).
