This super presentation celebrates the Searle Brothers success at the 1992 Olympics in the coxed pairs and the emotional Garry Herbert!.It contains a photo of them celebrating and mounted under this is an official Special Edition Centennial 1996 Olympic First Day Cover that displays official Royal Mint stamps together with the official USA Rowing stamp. They are respectively stamped Henley 9th July 1996 and Atlanta GA 2 May 1996.There is a replica Olympic Gold Medal and it is personally signed by Greg Searle on the cover.Part of a large private collection of Olympic memorabilia it is presented in its original dark wood frame with a plaque measuring in at 50cm by 37cm (approx).A fine one-off item British Olympic memorabilia.
