The MTD LS1500E electric log splitter is a simple to use and highly effective tool for splitting your logs. This device takes the hard work out of preparing logs for your fire. You can wheel this log splitter into position, then add logs to the cradle. A 1500W electric motor exerts 5 tonnes of pressure to force the log against a splitting wedge, easily splitting the log without the need for an axe. The LS1500E can handle logs up to 10 in diameter and 20.5 long. There is an optional waist height stand available. This wood splitter comes with a 12m electric cable and a 12 month manufacturers warranty.
