Made by the long established firm of Ackerman in the Loire region of France. This is a classic sparkling Saumur which is mainly made of the Chenin Blanc grape but also has 20 Cabernet Franc and 20 Chardonnay in it giving it breadth of flavour. The wine is made in the traditional way, undergoing secondary fermentation in bottle and then is left on its lees for two years before being disgorged and made ready for sale.
