This Oriental low table has flared Ming-style legs - traditionally shaped yet strikingly contemporary at the same time. Xian furniture is made in Shanghai from reclaimed elm originating in northern China, generally over 80 years old. Elm is heavily used in Chinese properties because of its stability in humid conditions. Its light colour disguises solid, weighty furniture which is handmade - so please note that all sizes are approximate and natural markings will be visible in the wood. To keep its beautiful appearance, just wax occasionally and polish with a soft cloth. Exclusive to John Lewis.
