Superb late season variety - an outstanding variety bearing a heavy crop of very large dark red high quality fruit 2-3 weeks later than Rubi. Exquisitely flavoured and very juicy! Resistant to cracking which can be a problem in cherries. Given that cherries are such a well loved fruit its surprising that they are not more widely grown in our gardens. Perhaps people are put off by childhood memories of giant unmanageable trees; if so then think again!
