The Sidekick takes the same principles of frame building that the Trailstar uses but makes these lighter for easier use on tricky trails and trials. Double butted chromo means this frame is strategically strengthened where it is needed without hindering the frame by adding extra weight where it is not. It uses DMR's APS braking system to allow adjustment of the brakes to work with either 24" or 26" wheels but also has international standard disc mounts for easy upgrade. It comes in either an MTB bottom bracket shell with vertical dropouts or a BMX bottom bracket shell with horizontal dropouts. The BMX bottom bracket shell allows the use of larger bearings for increased durability aswell as adding strength to the frame. On both types the dropouts are replaceable.
