A visit to Domaine Moreau is always a treat. Bernards son Alex is always warm and welcoming and the tiny winery is attached to the bustling family home - they are however very serious Chassagne producers. The Moreau style is as Robert Parker puts it plump opulent and delicious expertly balanced this year by the vintages characteristic mineral zest. Impressively persistent this is as ripe and full as the fine 2006 with a touch more vibrancy. Its tasting great already.
