It all begins on Christmas Eve. Just like every year for 20 years, the inhabitants of the small town of Kingston are gathering to commemorate the catastrophe that occured in the 80's, when Gremlins invaded the town. As always, Billy and the little Mogwai accidentally gets splashed with water at the party, which brings an extra guest around: Stripe. Without hesitation, he begins to create chaos and manages to lock the entire population in the dance hall so that he can take over the town. But Gizmo, who jus t barely managed to escape, does not see things that way; he intends to thwart Stripe's plans and save the town from a second disaster
