Unbranded Tilly the Tooth Fairy
In late 2008, Argos, the UKs number one toy retailer launched the ultimate competition for kids to design a Toy of the Future. The competition asked children to submit their ideas for a future toy design. A panel of industry expert judges picked a shortlist of 10 and the winner was voted for online by the public. The winner of the Toy of the Future competition is Aine Gallagher, aged 5 from Dungannon, Northern Ireland.Tilly the Tooth Fairy light up doll helps children who lose their teeth by comforting them at night. It goes under the childs pillow and comes with a small pouch where children can place their lost tooth. Aine was inspired to design the doll after losing her own tooth and being told how the tooth fairy comes to leave money under your pillow. Its such a great idea; even grown ups can remember losing their first tooth and hoping the Tooth Fairy would come and leave money. Having Tilly the Tooth Fairy by the childs side will reassure them and keep their tooth safe in the handy pouch ready for the real Tooth Fairy to find. Great thinking!Requires 2 x AA batteries (included for demonstration only). For ages 3 years and over.
