Onkyo have designed the TXSR500 to be easy to set up and use. You only need two buttons to set up the system - one to select the number of speakers, another for their size and that of the subwoofer – that’s all!!!

It goes without saying that the latest formats such as Dolby Pro Logic II are included. The all channels discrete power stage delivers up to 85 watts per channel even to the most advanced speakers. Its high current, low impedance drive and the wide range amplifier guarantee perfect reproduction of high-resolution media such as DVD Audio or SADC. Your speakers have never been so easy to connect thanks to the colour-coded speaker terminals and the matching tape that is included.

You can perfectly match the crossover frequency between speakers and subwoofer with the adjustable crossover. Optimum gain volume control delivers noise-free, high quality sound even at low volume settings and the 96kHz/24Bit converters enhance the outstanding sound quality. If movies sound too aggressive and high-pitched the ONKYO cinema filter kicks in and softens high frequencies to deliver warm and clear sound. If you want to copy your camcorder shots to your VCR, simply connect your handy cam to the front video input of the TX-SR500E. And, without a tuner the TX-SR500E wouldn’t be a receiver – 30 stations can be stored. It goes without saying that the TX-SR500E features ONKYO's full metal case with solid aluminum front panel
