A beautiful, curvaceous yet practical kettle by award-winning British designer Oliver Hemming. Made of 18/10 stainless steel with a heat-resistant PPS handle it has a fast boiling 3kW element, concealed element and washable limescale filter. There’s cord storage if you want a shorter cable and the base rotates 360° for left- or right-handed people.Kenyan-born Oliver Hemming was raised and educated in England. He studied silversmithing and 3D design, winning several design awards including the Johnson Mathey Silver Award in 1982 and a Bursary from the Royal Society of Arts. After graduating, he opened his own silversmithing studio where he worked on private commissions before starting his own company which made contemporary clocks. He now works with suppliers designing a diverse collection of products. The Nio kettle was designed in 2005.
