The fun way to discover and understand junior Maths topics. This program is based on using visual aids to teach key Maths topics. Children are presented with a wide variety of graphic exercises and encouraged to find the right answers. Children can literally count objects on the screen. They can match objects and numbers visually. As their confidence builds they can tackle more and more exercises. Children enjoy the game and puzzle feel of the program and are motivated and rewarded by special sounds and graphics when they find the right solution. The program is divided into eight activity areas which children can work through. Each area features games and exercises which the child is asked to complete. Heres a simple sorting exercise. Cakes with one cherry go on one plate, those with two go onto the other. The children drag them on using the mouse. Heres a more advanced exercise that is based on counting in sequence. In algebra terms its 3 + x = y but visually its so much more fun! Original
