This wine comes from several sites in Colchagua Valleys sub-appellations of Lolol, Pumanque, Marchigue and Apalta, and is a blend of 90 Merlot and 10 Malbec. Fermented with native yeasts, 80 of the blend is aged in French and American oak barrels for 9 months. A deep and inky purple colour, the wine offers a nose of dark, lightly confected blackcurrant fruit, with subtly savoury notes of olives and green peppers. Round and juicy, with fine, soft tannins.
