Philippe Colin™s Chenevottes has to be one of the best value 1er Cru whites found anywhere in Burgundy, with near Grand Cru levels of concentration and fabulous balance. It has an alluring, complex nose with notes of lime, white flowers and chalk-like minerality. Really impressive density on the palate, with incredibly pure and precise flavours of lemon and lime, supported by spine-tingling acidity and a mineral edge.
