This deep wine is a Languedoc interpretation of the famous CÃte Rotie blend. Vinified by fermenting the Syrah with the 5 Viognier grapes already added for a more harmonious feel, with around a third of the wine then aged for 5 months in oak barrels before reblending. Dark redcurrant and blackcurrant fruit, the viognier in this wine really stands out with its perfume qualities which give more elegance. Perfect with cottage pie, shepherds pie, or Italian-style meatballs.
