Unbranded Barbaresco Albesani 2009, Cantina del Pino

Part of our Pop-Up Cellar sourced by Lay and Wheeler. The Albesani vineyard is younger than Ovello, but seems to have even greater potential. It produces wines with more spice and darker fruit character and firmer tannins. The 2009 is a rich, dense wine with notes of macerated cherries and violets. Needs some time to fully knit but will undoubtedly be great.
