Part of our Pop-Up Cellar sourced by Lay and Wheeler. The 2008 normale has a rustic aroma redolent of tea leaves and dried currants. Notes of pot pourri give this wine a superb florality, which follows through onto the palate. Firm tannins provide a bold backbone where the delicate Sangiovese essence sits beautifully, marking its time. This is undoubtedly another excellent Brunello from this world-renowned estate, but it certainly needs some cellaring.
