A blend of 73 Carmenere, 17 Cabernet Sauvignon and 10 Merlot, grown in a prime single-vineyard location, biodynamically farmed by Marnier-Lapostolle. A gravity-fed winery allows minimal handling of this wine, which is racked straight to French oak barrels after fermentation, where it spends 22 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Deep, inky purple, the wine is bold, chocolaty and voluptuous and can be enjoyed immediately or over the next 7-10 years.
