Unbranded Finca Las Moras Tannat 2012, San Juan
Usually seen as a constituent of various southern-French blends, Tannat is rarely seen outside of France, or as a single-varietal wine. However, it has found a home in Argentina, where it is made in an up-front and fruit-driven style. A full-bodied red wine with enticing notes of chocolate, mint and blackberries which are complemented on the palate by spicy oak and hints of vanilla. Drink it with typical Argentinian foods - grilled steaks and spicy pasta dishes.
