Intonation Trainer teaches woodwind and brass students how to listen for and eliminate intonation beats. Simply play your instrument into the specially adapted microphone (included in the package) and let the software show you how to improve your playing. You learn how to play in "Just Intonation" and why an E in a C major chord has to be played lower than the same E in a C# minor chord. Each student can make his or her own personalised intonation chart. Students learn which notes on their instrument are flat and which are sharp, learning to anticipate pitch problems and how to solve them quickly. Built-in tutorials show students what to listen for. Students can experiment with the computer playing intervals or chords. Move the pitch of one note in and out of tune to hear the beats, and watch for the pulsating graphic, which shows beats as you hear them
