For a reliable on-location steady light source without harsh shadows, the Rotolight RL48-B Stealth Edition takes some beating. It gives a bright steady light source with variable colour temperature and is amazingly portable.The RL48-B is an ultra-lightweight LED ring light that uses 48 extra bright LED lamps and gives the equivalent to 80W if using conventional incandescent technology. It is a warm and natural light source, having selectable 6300K, 5600K daylight, 4300K and 3200K Tungsten balanced colour temperatures. Mount it either around your shotgun mic or on a hotshoe using an optional mount. It can also be used as close as 4cm to your subject as a macro light.
