Who would have believed, even 10 years ago, that we would be writing about wines grown at a latitude of 8° south of the equator? And eminently drinkable wines, too! Exciting times. This Portuguese owned winery and its neighbouring vineyards were originally intended to produce table grapes, but the year-round warm climate (between 28-32C) and abundant irrigated water supply, have allowed the production of quality wines.
