The Courageous Stand of the 93rd Highlanders - 25th October 1854, The Battle of Balaclava. Its been quoted as "Sir Colin Campbells thin red streak tipped with a line of steel". Here, it is gloriously depicted by David Cartwright, the highly acclaimed military artist. It was a moment of conspicuous bravery. General Campbell ordered: "Remember there is no retreat from here men! You must die where you stand!" The reply came: "Aye, Aye, Sir Colin, well do that." Measures 56 cm by 46 cm.
