Rivalling 2004 for quality and finesse the extraordinary 2005 vintage is ideal for lovers of silky Spanish reds. Hand-harvested and barrel-matured this is classic Rioja at its most enjoyable. A long-ripening period has given this 100 Tempranillo a vibrant cherry red colour. Ripe berry fruit and supple oaky tannins make this vanilla-scented Rioja soft enough to enjoy on its own. Delicious with roasted beef BBQ mature cheeses too.
