This is not really a toy in as much that you cant actually move the figure out of its position. However it was a lot more sturdy than I thought it would be and my son was really pleased with it.

First off the product description says Solid Snake whereas the figure is actually Naked snake from Metal Gear Solid 3. You can tell because of the eyepatch and the US army equipment and also because when you buy it the box says Snake - MGS 3 ver.
The model itself is very detailed even going as far as modelling Snakes facial hair instead of just painting it on like I have seen with some other models. As said above the codec wire is very thin and looks easily breakable.
The model comes with Snakes usual CQC stuff, the silenced pistol with detachable silencer and a small CQC knife. He also has a bigger survival knife and two sheaths to put his knifes away in if you dont want him holding them. I currently have him sitting on top of a speaker in his classic MGS3 CQC pose.

For those considering purchasing this Metal gear SOlid collectible figure, I would like to explain how I feel about the ornamental figure.
To start Id like to say that of the 20th annoversary MGS figures, this is undoubtedly the most accurate with unbelievable detail. I felt this was definatly a worthy buy. The figure is 15+ for a reason in that it contains small pieces including a gun, silencer and two knives. Also the figure should not be used as a toy as it is not durable and cannot really change from the stance shown in the image. However it makes for a wonderful collectible figure. Id like to add that attatched to th figure is a codec wire that loops around Snakes body. This wire is very fragile so must be taken care of but it really is a great figurine!
