| treatme.net | Zapcat Racing Experience | Went on this yesterday and the Zapcat`s are amazing fun. Make sure you are feeling fit though as you will be holding in for dear life and it really takes it out of you.
BUT I have to say we went to Southampton for our experience and the guy organising was terrible. He was half an hour late and then seemed to fumble around for ages trying to find things. He wasn`t really very customer focussed either and just seemed to mumble a few words every now and then.
However the main reason for going is to experience the Zapcat and that part of the day was fantastic. The drivers of the Zapcats are very talented and can get the boat almost vertical without flipping it over!!! FANTASTIC! | | Chris | 28/10/2006 09:44:26 |

| Unbranded | F4 Phantom Fighter Jet Simulator | Hi Just wanted to say thanks for the wonderful flying experience I had as a birthday present. I think I can safely say the F4 Phantom flight simulator must be THE best `Boys Toy` there is. The full hour flight simulator experience (which by the way lasted a good hour and a half by my reckoning) was superb - so sorry if I was laughing all the way through it but I`m sure you`re used to that eh. Think I`ll have to do it again soon... Many thanks B | | B - Customer at Real Simulation | 06/01/2008 10:51:36 |

| Unbranded | Birds of Prey Experience - Full Day | Hi, I am new to this reviewing but felt SO strongly about our day out I wanted to tell EVERYONE! I spent the day at Warwick Castle but booked myself and my family on the Birds of Prey Course (my Dad`s 70th). It was SUPERB! I would recommend it to everyone - even if you don`t fancy Warwick Castle. Chris O`Donnell, Paul and Johnny from Hawkexperience were real Gentlemen. They treated us like royalty and we learnt SO much whilst having great fun - not every day you have a Bald Eagle on your arm and a 2 course lunch to boot! My 7 year old daughter was with us and hasn`t stopped talking about it. We have decided to book another course in October which is run from where they live in Yorkshire (so not too far for us to go). Lots of friends and family want to book too after seeing the pictures. We enjoyed the castle too, it`s spectacular, but would 100% recommend that if you`re planning a day out at Warwick Castle to book yourself on the Birds of Prey Course. I could go on all day.....The Shepherd family, Lancashire. | | Jo | 01/05/2007 08:32:35 |

| Virgin | Recording Studio Experience | Got my recording session from my brother for my birthday and it is done by a company called Pod Music. We had a choice of lots of different studios to goto and ended up going to Pod Recording Studio in Oxford. It was a brilliant experience and I will never forget it. | | Mark | 20/08/2004 17:12:27 |

| Unbranded | Rock Climbing | I went climbing for the first time on a man made 25m wall the other day and I was amazed how much fun it was.
I have always been the kind of person who only really goes for adrenaline sports and thought it would be boring but having to jump to get the next hand-hold when you are half way up the wall gets the heart going I can tell you!
I've not yet tried "real" rocks but I plan to soon.
Highly recommended. | | Chris | 29/10/2002 16:31:03 |

| Drivers | Dream Day | I bought a lombo experience for my other half for xmas last year and I was really exceited about it!! He has only just done it as he wanted a better chance of nice weather. To start off with had a call from someone around April saying that I had been sent the wrong voucher....mine had gone to someone else.....I was told someone would call back to arange changing, but no one did, and i could nto get hold of anyone, so I left it as it was....it looked like what I had payed for! When he arrived for the day, it was not a circuit like stated, mire like a landing strip!! he got to drive up and down that 4 times!! That is what I paid for!! My other half is a very experienced driver, and he could not even reach 100mph in the short distance..... At the end he bought the vodea that is given to you on a menory stck which cost #30 (around) It has a camera pointing forward and one on the driver. The whole EXPENSIVE experience lasted about 5 mins. Disappointing! | | Anon | 28/08/2009 09:55:27 |

| Drivers | Dream Day | I have had similar dealings with these people, took me an age to get through but managed it. On the day the staff seems to bother with the punters The driving was fun though I won`t be using them again. | | Richard Whenham | 23/05/2008 13:17:18 |

| Virgin | Balloon Flight For one | We are in the same situation, we have been trying to book for over a year, and our friends have been trying for 2 years. Has anyone actually been on a flight? | | Anon | 28/08/2009 09:54:14 |

| Virgin | Balloon Flight For one | I have tried for nearly 2 years to use my tickets with Virgin Balloons and have been constantly let down... Today was the final straw, after seeing that the forecast for today`s flight were ideal for flying, I was flabbergasted to receive notification it had been cancelled! I have been a pilot for over 13 years, both military and civilian and have a good understanding of the weather required to conduct a safe flight, which is why I just could not believe it when this flight did not go ahead. This has happened on several occassions prior to this and can only assume the pilot couldn`t be bothered to go flying or they didn`t have sufficient numbers and hance cancelled the flight anyway irrespective of the weather. I am currently in the process of trying to retrieve my money, albeit unsuccessfully. Having subsequently read other reviews of Virgin Balloons I see that this is not a one off event. My advice is to avoid using this company.... | | Bill Jones | 20/08/2009 07:43:07 |

| Drivers | Dream Day | I WROTE TO DDD SEVERAL TIMES WITH THE FOLLOWING. THE MANAGER DEFINITELY RECEIVED IT BUT I NEVER GOT ANY REPLY BACK, SO I HAD TO REFER IT TO THE `HEALTH & SAFETY EXECUTIVE` FOR AN INVESTIGATION. 18 May 08 Dear Simon, Please could I submit the following complaint for DDDs consideration. I attended the Rally Evo vs Subaru experience at Stratford on 26 Apr 08 (1330-1600ish) Safety Two of my stage runs had to be aborted due to a random grey Audi estate appearing on the stage (to the bemusement and annoyance of my instructor). I highlighted to Martin that the brake pedal on the Subaru was getting longer and longer as we were driving on the tarmac. He said to continue and by the time we pulled up at the end, the pedal went right down to the floor (in a car which he described as an old, tired shed). In 15 years of trackdays, sprinting, racing schools and experiences, I have never ever been round a track without a helmet, yet this was the norm for instructors (which sets a very bad example) and students were advised that a helmet was not necessary. This was despite triple figure speeds on the tarmac and exactly the same danger in the event of mishap as any other motorsport activity where helmets would always be worn. Road cars The cars were billed as purpose-built rally cars on the website but they did not appear to be in practice. Several were road cars (albeit with with look-alike graphics) and standard seats and seatbelts (another safety point proper harnesses are required). I cannot remember if they all had rollcages or not but they need them. Overall, I felt there was a serious lack of basic Duty of Care safety observance going on. Instruction We did not receive a much of a technique briefing before getting in the car and overall I did not feel I was taught much in the way of techniques (the website promises you will be taught powerslides and other rally driving techniques) However, the coaching was quite good. Martin, Pete and the other instructor who did the loose stage (I forget his name) were all great with their tips in the car. The driving The driving was great fun The driving time was pretty minimal for the cost We wasted quite a bit of time chatting in the car after the stage or with cars/instructors sat idle while the passenger rides were all done this could have been used to give more driving time (3-4 hours at the venue for 15-20mins total driving and a passenger ride is not a great ratio) The stage was noddy. To avoid driveshaft problems we were directed to trundle gently round the hairpins at each end (fair enough) and only accelerate after coming out of them (the website promises handbrake turns which did not materialise in practice). However, after departing the hairpin theres only the long right-hander and some zig-zag cones to negotiate before trundling round the far hairpin. If the above comments seem harsh, they are made after comparing the day with my subsequent days at Silverstone circuits rallyschool and PJM Sport at Brackley. Both the above had properly prepared rallycars, a lot more driving time and a long and complex stage, for similar cost. At Silverstone they also provided a full colour hand out detailing rally techniques, car spec and other info as well as a written driver report the experience felt a lot more professional, overall. I look forward to hearing from you soon. [NO REPLY EVER RECEIVED] | | NEAT40 | 28/01/2009 15:42:53 |

| Drivers | Dream Day | I have been on one of these Drivers dream days. You stand in a queue from anything from an hour to two hours waiting to be called out for your drive. They scam you on the insurance as when you do have an incident you are expected to pay. The place is a mess,. litter everywhere. No one greets you as they say they will, they just try and sign you in as quickly as possible as the queue is horendous on arrival. I was very upset after spending over #250.00 to drive a few cars. The cars had bald tyres and were in pretty poor condition all round and the guy sat in (apparently an instructor!) worked in finance. What a shambles. Oh, and no helmets provided. If you ever succeed in getting through on the phones, tell them to forget it. As a refund will never be seen. The world will freeze over before they refund anyone!! | | Jason Holmes | 03/09/2008 09:40:18 |

| Activity Superstore | Helicopter Buzz | Do not waste your money on these fools. They promise the world and deliver nothing. I`ve been waiting to use vouchers for what seems like an eternity and I can never use them. This is after they messed up my vouchers and spent 6 months trying to sort them out. I must have spoken to 20 different people. I`m currently waiting for a cookery course but they forgot to add me to the waiting list in January (surprise surprise!). Nonetheless the guy said that they had only had one available date in six months anyway! When you check the cookery course website there are hundreds of available courses! I`ve now got at least another 3 month wait to use the vouchers but I`ve got a feeling that I`ll never use them and it will be £200 wasted by my parents. | | Anon | 16/06/2008 15:10:18 |

| Drivers | Dream Day | Don`t use Drivers Dream Day. They are a scam and no matter what is put on their web page I have never been able to get through to them. Paid for the experience but have never been able to speak to anyone. Tried all manner of ways. Be aware of them

| Unbranded | Outbreaker Fitness Watch | Possibly a good watch, not that you`ll ever get to find out. Why? Well try reading the manual to make sense of it (there a re plenty of PDFs online for this). It makes absolutly no sense at all and Oregon Scientific refuse to answer any querries regarding their product. Avoid like the plague! | | Mountain Biker | 20/01/2008 17:41:59 |

| treatme.net | Microlight 40 Mins Session | Just browsing through Google and came across this great picture of a microlight - my microlight, a Letov Sluka LK-2M, G-MZES, taken by my then instructor, Deepak Mahajan of Microlight Sport Aviation, when I was clocking up my solo hours for my license flying over the Cambridge fens. It`s a single seater so any punters won`t be flying in this plane as a treat, and because it`s mine. | | John Self | 26/08/2007 09:23:09 |
