Owing its name to the unique howl heard when the wind fills the fissures of the rock or possibly because the shape of the rock resembles a wolfs head, the Wolf Rock challenge is to be the quickest to sail non-stop from Cowes, around the Wolf (off Lands End) and back. Simply enter a team of eight - no sailing experience is necessary as 2 x two day training sessions are included prior to the race itself, which lasts around three days and comprises up to 360 miles of non-stop offshore sailing.
