They are right there at the table with you and so feel a part of the ritual of mealtimes. i have also found that the tantrums have abated that used to happen around mealtimes wen baby was in bouncy chair on floor. I first purchased MAWS bottles at a car boot sale in northern Ireland. Nowhere seems to stock them, so i am now having to buy online. | Unbranded | Dr. Browns Vacuum Free Bottle Starter Pack | My baby boy is very windy when drinking his milk. I was told to try Dr Brown`s after previously using Avent and found a massive difference. The vacuum system eradicates all air bubbles and he now drinks about 4oz without even stopping to be winded! He seems to have a much more enjoyable feed every single time. The teats are more realistic and although they are a lot more expensive they are worth every penny. Don`t bother with any other bottle from now on - honestly. Lets see what they have to say!! Also suggested they develop a table mat with a catch tray so finger foods can`t get dropped on the floor from inbetween the chair and the table! | Avent | Niplette | Hard to believe, especially for those of us who have never seen our nipples `out`, but THIS THING WORKS! IT ACTUALLY WORKS! I`ve been wearing mine for 5 days and already they are showing significant progress - being able to come `out` and stay out for a few hours. There is some very minor discomfort (entirely bearable, I assure you) but this could also because I`m young and rash and applying a fair bit of suction. Am I pregnant? No. Am I planning to be pregnant? No. I`m doing this for *me*, and it`s totally working and making me feel fabulous. Inverted nipples have always caused me a great deal of shame and embarrassment, not to mention a great fear that I would not be able to breastfeed properly. Looks like I don`t have to worry so much anymore! FYI: It`s a bit hard to wear this at night - jerks and wiggles (especially if involving bumps from clothing/blanket etc) can cause the niplette to fall off even if you`re lying on your back. The only success I`ve had with bedtime wearing is to lie on my back with no blanket covering my upper body, wearing a light cotton top that did not press down in any way. And not moving. At all. I find it easier to wear in the afternoon/evening/early night when I`m awake and not doing much, eg reading or doing TV. That way the niplette doesn`t get jolted around, and even if it does, I just put it straight back on again. | | anon | 14/01/2008 09:59:50 |

| Chicco | Hippo Table Seat- Giraffe | I started by loving this seat - it clips beautifully onto our breakfast bar and allows our baby son to join in our mealtimes (unlike a conventional high chair, which is too low). But I`ve grown to HATE it - why? Because its very very hard to clean. Its pale blue cover shows every bit of food thats spilt on it and it gets stained very easily. Trying to wipe off the food simply dosn`t work. It claims to be washable, but its been designed so that its really difficult to get the cover off the frame. I have just been wrestling with it and I got so mad at it, it inspired me to write this review!!! It took a while for him to stop pulling it off the table and playing with it but once we got thru that phase it stays put unless he is having a tantrum. I have started using one also for my 8 month old. He is still in the phase where he tends to pull it off but generally he is pretty good with it.
