Pink Tomy Starlight Dreamshow Musical Baby Night Light. Even the youngest of babies have active minds as they lie in their cot, and the Starlight Dreamshow from Tomy is designed to occupy those little minds, then relax them and lull them to sleep. Consisting of a small, plastic moulded star, measuring roughly 14cm (5.5 inches) from tip to tip, and 6cm (2.5 inches) in depth, the Starlight Dreamshow has several operational modes controllable using a switch. Move the switch from 'off' to either the '5 min' or '10 min' setting, then choose between pictures only or pictures and music. On the latter setting, the Starlight Dreamshow will project small, pastel images of teddies, stars, moons and clouds onto the ceiling, while playing through three soft and gentle lullabies. On the first setting, the pictures are shown in silence. If your baby isn't asleep by the time the Starlight Dreamshow automatically switches off, just press the on button again for a replay. The Starlight Dreamshow can also be switched off early, during either of the timed programmes. Suitable from birth, the Starlight Dreamshow requires 4 x AA batteries, which are not included. A handy plastic strap comes with the unit, which can be fitted to the unit to fix it to the side of a cot, or removed so the projector can be freestanding on a chest of drawers or bedside cabinet. Great product for the price. Compact and lightweight and great for taking travelling as it makes baby feel at home. Ive seen fancier ones with remote controls and sensors but in my opinion theres no need. THis has done us proud. Its also taken a battering and survived - she kicks and bashes it against the cot bars but it still works fine

When I first tried it I didnt like it as it wasnt the same as the old one but my daughter was fascinated by it. It glows a lovely pink colour and has about 3 different tunes in a music box style. It projects teddies and moons onto the ceiling. It was a bit loud so we moved it away from the cot. You can set it to last for 5 or 10 minutes. The downside is that it appears only to play one tune for the whole ten minutes which starts to become repetitive. However, I would recommend this product. Its now part of our bedtime routine and it works a treat. We turn it on in the dark bedroom and watch it together for a few minutes and then she lays in her cot and watches it on her own. Tonight at 7 she lay in her cot for a few minutes watching the show and was asleep before it finished (although we had been swimming today so she was exhausted!)

My daughter was thrilled with it, she had heard how excellent it was and had been searching for one herself. Amelia absolutely loves it, the ceiling lights are so pretty, and it helps her to sleep every night; it goes with her when she stays away from home and she never has any problem settling down for the night. I imagine it will keep her happy for years. Thoroughly recommend it.

It is a basic cot light show... no remote or fancy settings but thats why I like it less confusing... you can set it to play for 5 mins or 10 mins. My daughter loves it and will watch it before falling asleep.

I would recommend this product. Its definitely something that you will be happy to see in your kids room.

Its very basic but very cute - it glows a subtle pink colour, has a lovely soothing lullaby that plays for 5 or 10 minutes and a teddy-bear light show that projects onto the ceiling. I turn it on as part of my daughters sleep routine and really works well.
