My son was desperate for this toy at christmas and he does like it, but I have to say I was disappointed by the flimsiness of the kit. Even getting the pieces out of the plastic attachments was likely to break them. Having said that this easy kit was much better than the pocket version which his friend had. That ended up with most of the tiny pieces broken (with an adult doing it). I would not recommend this toy. Much better toys are the star wars transformers which are much more robust and more fun.

This really is a great model - if you dont like painting or gluing. It snaps together in about 20 minutes, but the end results are great - and is almost idiot proof.

Mines looking good on my desk at work, and is a great talking point.
