HOW TO MAKE FUNKY PHOTO FRAMES AT HOME?
Ok, this is an easy one, depending on what you want your photo frames to be made OF. It might sound a bit primitive, but a great (and cheap) way is to cut two equally square pieces of cardboard approximately the size an shape of the photograph itself with the addition of an extra centimetre around so that you can staple the front piece of cardboard to the back (when you get to that point). From here, take one of the cardboard squares and place the picture in the centre as neatly as you can. Draw around the photo`s edge onto the cardboard, marking it. Take the picture away and you will be left with its outlne. Its really open ended what you do from here in terms of the inner frame shape. Make sure you DO NOT cut the carboard where the outline of the photo is. Instead take it in about half a centimetre toward the centre. Cut the square (or whatever shaped hole) until you can place it over your photo and are happy that the picture is visible enough. Take the other piece of carboard and place it on the table. This is our base. Place the second piece of cardboard on top of it and when both pieces are aligned, begin stapling the sides and bottom (DO NOT staple the top as this is where your picture will slide in). Once they are securely stapled, turn over the frame (until the front is facing down) and cut a triangle from any remaining card. The triangle should be half the bredth and height of the card, effectively making up a quarter of the frames` total size. Staple the top of the triangle (the point) to the middle of the back and bend the bottom piece to support the frame. This is its stand. At this point you should place the card inside to see how its coming along before you start painting, glueing, glittering or fashioning the frame in any way you see fit.
