At a very basic level, you need somewhere to put the water (a sink, adult bath, washing-up bowl or plastic baby bath all work fine) and a towel to dry baby afterwards. Cotton wool, flannels or soft sponges can be useful for washing baby. Agree or Disagree?

if your baby cannot yet sit up you must ensure you have got hold of the baby securely.personally i put one hand around the babys back and then move it underneath her legs to make sure have a steady grip on the baby. the midwife told me not to use and products on my baby, but i just think you would wash yourself with just water would you. i use any johnsons baby bath products as i know they are a well established brand and have been around for a long time.
