what are laser printers?
Laser printers are machines which print documents sent to them from a computer. The name comes from the fact that the internal mechanism incorporates a laser beam. The main advantage of a laser printer is that there are no wet inks used which makes the laser printer much more likely to work even after a long period of disuse. The disadvantage is that the consumable items can be expensive, however this varies hugely from model to model. What do you think?

Much faster, higher quality, doesn`t smudge, lasts longer. Downside = cost. What do you think?

what are the best colour laser printers?
The C2600 is a gem, prints smoothly, quickly, very good quality, never seems to jam and looks good on your desk. The only downside is the hideous price of the toner (to buy all 4 would cost over £350!) Other than that, general maintenance is straight forward and the menu is so simple an idiot could use it. What do you think?

the initial cost of the printer is more than an inkjet however the toner lasts much longer than ink cartridges and if you use them infrequently laser printers are not subject to the same problems stemming from disuse that inkjets are. What do you think?
