Are slow cookers safe to leave on for 12 hours?
Yes I think so as long as it is not an old cooker with the wires hanging out, most modern slow cookers are safe to leave and I have done so many times. I do not set mine on high when leaving it for a number of hours, just the low setting is fine. Smells wonderful after a hard day at work too!

ARE SLOW COOKERS GOOD?
My mum bought one a while back. A Morphy Richards one, and as the name suggests it WAS slow. It took nearly a whole day just to cook a dinner! It IS ok for foods such as stews, but that is about it, ohh and Mince and Dumplings. What do you think?
