Im sick of this camera. My wife gave it to me as a present and its been nothing but trouble. Condensation fault has just come back. Its been for repair three times in 3 years. Condensation and CCD faults. Thisll be the fourth time. Appalling for a piece of kit costing this much.

I have borrowed my neighbours GR-DX97EK and after almost an hour of filming come up against the dreaded condensation issue that, so I have read, affects a lot of JVC camcorders. If you look on the web you will get further information on this issue. It is sad that this unit suffers from this problem as it has a number of great features.

An excellent camera with a vast array of facilities and very user friendly
controls.
The image quality is excellent and i would certainly advise anyone
considering buying a mini dv camcorder to go for this one.
