I just bought this product and I am having some trouble find the connections to fit it in my car err :( but apart from that I know it is a wicked stereo for playing CD`s and listing to the radio !
i own the alpine cda9812rb.... i purchased this stereo from halfords 3 years ago. so far the stereo has been through 3 cars with me inlcluding two of them that were total write offs..... the alpine has been that reliable with me that it survived one of the crashes when the dash had ripped all the way down the middle and the blessed alpine was still intact. i am today just about to have it fitted in my scooby impreza and would reccomend this stereo as the mid range alpine stereo to buy. this stereo was 300 quid new when i bought it so even cheaper now i shud imagine

Very good sound on CD audio and mp3. VERY bad sound on tuner. The radio is MONO.. though the stereo indicator is on. If you love to listen radio stations don`t buy this model.

Bought over the internet. Stereo broke after 4 days use. sent it back. Alpine claim to have replaced some parts and tested it. Returned to mewith the same fault. Not impressed. Stereo once again sent back.
Verdict - rubbish service from Alpine, poor quality stereo and lots spentin postage. Buy something else for half the price.
