For anyone who may require spare parts for this item, its advisable to use
the Argos + Homebase electrical helpline 0870 725 2949. They were able to
provide me with parts for my Challenge Extreme item and possible others
too.

This is one of the worst things that I have ever bought with money whilst
sober. I could clean my car better by sucking through a straw with a
handkerchief stuck on the end. If you still really, really want to buy one
(or the charger/battery that I have) you can buy mine off of ebay right
now. I can`t imagine that anyone will pay more than my asking price of one
Great British Pound because it isn`t worth it.
It sucks! Correction - it doesn`t suck at all (that`s the problem). Argos
sucks if they think this product is worth the asking price. I would be
disappointed with this if it fell out of a budget Christmas cracker. I
could go on, but I won`t.

I have had these products for some time and am completely satisfied except
that I cannot find replacement batteries (NiCad DC14.4v).
Can you please help?

Hi, have many challenge extreme products from Argos, all working
perfect..., even the hand held vacum cleaner as mentioned above.
When I needed spare parts, I simply called Argos, and they took my details
what part I required and passed them on to another company who deals with
most challenege extreme spare parts, along with many other brands. They
called me back a few days later to take my order...
give them another call, it should work, trust me.

I have the battery charger but it doesn`t work. Product is rubbish. Argos
is rubbish. Don`t buy this product.

We bought the 14.4V Challenge Extreme Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner at Argos
Kingston Upon Thames and we are not at all satisfied with the product
because there is nowhere in our area that sells 14.4V battery chargers. I
have tried phoning the Argos helpline and the person I spoke to could give
me no information at all about how or where to buy the required battery
charger. I am stuck with a Vaccum cleaner that I cannot use because I
cannot recharge it.
