Bought the PNA100 at xmas 2005 and was working well especialy with roof mounted ariel, i could not ask for anymore. September the card reader went wrong the unit was not collected for nearly 3 weeks from Halfords for repair had it back after another 2 weeks 2 days later the motherboard went wrong. On sending it back, Customer service was very very poor I have now come to the opinion never to buy another Medion Product again.

Do not buy one. I have one since Dec 2005. When working properly it is good but not reliable. Problems picking up satelites and kept freezing on me. Drove 260 miles recently one day and it worked for 60miles. Not good enough......... Backup team is in England and they leave you on hold for up to 30mins, not cheap.

Cheap unit, works reasonably well. Sometimes takes a long time picking up signal.

PNA 100 bought Nov04 Worked well until July05 when it started to act up -20 to 30mins for GPS to activate and then tended to drop satellite and then get muddled with its position - often placing me in close by parallel streets (even when not in car) Now follows a catalogue of woe: Reported problems to Medion Tech Support. Told it would take them 4 to 5 working days to repair - 14 days max - HaHa 3Aug - delivered unit by hand to UPS for shipping to Medion in Swindon 16Aug -I phoned to see what was happening. They hadn`t booked it in until 9Aug (checked with UPS who had delivered it on 4Aug) 22Aug - I phoned -they are waiting for parts 25Aug - I phoned Customer Support - they are in final stages of repair. I phoned workshop - they are still waiting for parts from Germany! Early Sept - unit finally returned. Worked OK for a couple of weeks but then remained stuck on Medion start up screen and could only be switched off by removing battery. 20Sept - I phoned up and logged new problem 22Sept - picked up by Parceline 5Oct - I phoned - its been lost either in warehouse or by Parceline - they will phone back today - no one called back 6Oct - I phoned - they`ll get back to me today - no one called 7Oct - I phoned, Parceline had lost unit. Could I send proof of purchase so they can send a new unit. Faxed copy of Halfords receipt and Certif of Purchase. 10Oct - I phoned. Fax received and they would be sending replacement. 13Oct - I phoned - details are with Customer Intervention Team 14Oct - I phoned, couldn`t speak direct to Customer Intervention Team, but Customer Support Agent would ask them to call me. 17Oct - I phoned, they`ll call back 20Oct - I phoned, they will chase it and call back. 21Oct - I phoned, paperwork has had to go to Parceline for insurance claim. Should be back and sorted next week. 24Oct - MEDION PHONED ME!!!!!!! The unit has just been delivered by Parceline and they will start work immediately.
TO BE HONEST ALL I WANT IS A REFUND Product is OK but repair service is hopeless. Guess I`ve probably been on the phone for a total of 3 to 4 hours listening mostly to recorded messages and music with the occasional promises of a call back which rarely materialises.
