It tells you the time and the date- it took me ages to get it right (I said September and it said January...)- but now it`s fine. The journal doesn`t recognise the owners voice, it take several attempts to get in again (20+). | Girl | Tech Password Journal | I bought this for my 7 year old daughter this Christmas 2007. She was really excited but very soon was reduced to tears!!! The toy does NOT work. It is near impossible to say your password EXACTLY the same each time and if you do not the thing wont open. We have spent more time taking the batteries out and starting again. I had read some reviews before buying and thought, as many do, that it is only people who have trouble that leave reviews there must be thousands that are ok but NO this toys technology is NOT reliable and childrens voices are very difficult to repeat exactly. Luckily I had bought this item at half price, which is bad enough, if I had bought at the full price of £19.99+ I would have been furious!!
