| MAGIMIX | 11259 | Magimix Nespresso M100 Coffee Maker & Aeroccino (Metal Grey)We love our coffee and have longed to get something approaching the expressos and cappucinos you can get on the continent. We have tried many different machines and had previously failed to find anything to impress. Having read the reviews of the M100 I decided to give it a try and I have to say my wife and I have been absolutely delighted by the results, it has exceeded both our expectations by a long way. It is incredibly simple and quick to use with your choice of strength determined by your choice of coffee capsule and amount of water run through the machine. All the expressos have that wonderful creamy head and a range of strengths and flavours to suit most pallets. Temperature is perhaps a tad low, but OK if you preheat the cup (not scalding hot coffee though). It is also very clean, using sealed capsules which drop into an internal tray after use. Only criticism is you cannot slip a standard mug under the spout which means if you are a fan of large weaker coffees you have to tip the mug to remove and top up from a kettle (but I am talking about a >330ml mug so a large coffee such as an Americano). For those who love lattes and cappucinos the Aerocinno it a truely amazing bit of kit. Hot milk with a fabulous fine foamed head with the mini wisk and a slight head with the stirrer, all done in about a minute (and also very simple to keep clean). I bought a complete set of all the coffees from Nespresso as a starter and they range from strength 3 to 10, a wide selection of ~10 expressos, ~3 lungos and ~4 decafinated versions. Cost about 23p per capsule. I have no hesitation in recommending the unit for home use, its a real treat. | | Amazon Reviewer | 05/01/2009 01:01:01 |

| MAGIMIX | 11259 | This is the first time Ive ever reviewed a product but this is so good that I thought I should have a go.
I bought this to replace another Magimix Nespresso machine that had an integral steam/heating nozzle. This had been great but was wearing out. Id had it a few years and I do make a lot of coffee. In my opinion the separate coffee machine and milk heater is far superior to my previous combination unit. The coffee has an excellent crema head to it and the milk temperature is just right. Unless you prefer mouth scalding, straight from the kettle, temperature, this will be perfect.
Also there is no mess with the milk heater. The steam nozzle system was fine but this is so much better,
Finally, both items are well styled and finely engineered. All in all, Im not sure how this could be improved on. | | Amazon Reviewer | 10/07/2008 01:01:01 |

| MAGIMIX | 11259 | I once shared a flat with a friend who brought her traditional espresso machine to live with us. She was messy, and her machine was even messier. Hot milk spluttered everywhere and coffee grounds sat in drifts around my kitchen - it put me right off such machines. Now, many years later, my heart has been quite won over by this machine. Its tiny, wee, sits right next to my kettle and the whole time Im out walking the dog each morning I think longingly about the coffee Ill have when I get home. Only trouble is Im starting to have two coffees a day, sometimes even three.... and they are delicious.
You just switch the power button on and it heats up in a minute or two, ready to go. Then you pop in a pod of ready-ground coffee, slip a cup under the spout and press go. With a little practice youll know which of the many Nespresso coffees you prefer, how much water, whether you want milk and so on. Yes the pod system is a little pretentious - you join the Nespresso Club and order pods 50 at a time which are delivered to your home (so you have to have somewhere to store the boxes). But it does taste really fresh and its hugely cheaper than a Starbucks habit. No mess, the aeroccino makes great latte or capuccino when youre in the mood, and its hot but not too hot to drink straight away.
I use the water from my water filter which (a) makes delicious coffee (London water is too hard to make really nice coffee) and (b) means I dont have to descale my machine. Its incredibly easy to refill the water supply and clean out the old coffee pods - I just wish I could find an easy way to recycle them.
I spent a couple of months deciding whether or not to buy it and then got it in January. Four months later Im even more pleased with it than when I first bought it. A great product. | | Amazon Reviewer | 30/04/2008 01:01:01 |

| JURA | IMPRESSA F50 | The machine is good. Please pay attention during the initialization of the machine. The written in the manual procedure must kept sharply. The coffee tastes good. | | Dino from Hellas | 07/11/2007 14:30:56 |

| MORPHY RICHARDS | 47010 | The coffee maker is good in that its quite quick and makes decent tasting coffee. However, the temperature that it makes it at is nowhere near hot enough meaning that all that is delivered is a cup of warm coffee. Maybe its just me, but I prefer my hot drinks to be.......well, hot basically. Also, the milk warmer is ridiculously slow. I have taken to heating the milk in a pan before using the machine to froth it up. All in all, its not bad but just needs to be hotter. | | Amazon Reviewer | 26/03/2008 01:01:01 |

| MORPHY RICHARDS | 47010 | There are some basic questions to ask yourself here. How much are you willing to pay in order to get what you want? This is one of the cheapest machines on the market, and honestly, it shows!
Trying to cater for three things in one machine it scores a miserable 1 out of 3;
Making filter coffee is about all its good for, and be honest, if you just wanted a filter coffee machine you wouldnt buy this... even a french press cafetiere would do the job! A grudging pass
Milk isnt steamed to give a thick foam, rather heated till lukewarm (after an eternity) and then whisked slightly; no steam = no decent milk..... Not good. A comprehensive Fail
As for the espresso, again a question of personal choice. Do not expect a 15 bar pressured, crema topped and warm (never mind hot) espresso though. Instead of a presice timed operation you can expect a three minute sputtering ending in a jar of cold and bitter...... I really object to using the word espresso to describe this machines offering.
A really comprehensive fail....Dont even waste decent beans on this machine.
For what my opinions worth (despite the polemic) dont buy this machine. Yes, its cheap but, this is one of those instances where one phrase springs to mind.

| MORPHY RICHARDS | 47010 | Total rubbish! Luke warm coffee and a silly little swivel stick to froth the milk? No way, to make proper capuccino you need to inject steam into the milk. They should be done under the Trade Descriptions Act. | | Amazon Reviewer | 07/08/2008 01:01:01 |

| Krups | Dulce Gusto | I really love my coffee machine and use it often during the day. If I cannot drink my Cafe Lungo from my machine, I feel cheated! No other coffee compares! | | Carol Charsley | 13/09/2008 10:18:14 |

| Krups | Dulce Gusto | This is the best gift for coffee lovers! I have owned mine for a year now - problem free and not just a novelty but a regulerly used kitchen item. Buying them as presents for others this Xmas! | | Charlotte | 11/12/2007 13:22:43 |

| Krups | Dulce Gusto | This machine is great. All the drinks taste like you`ve just brought a coffee from a coffee shop. If you are a big coffee drinker it can get expensive at 2.99 for 8 drinks. My problem at the moment is finding a supermarket that stocks the drinks. | | Tinkerbell | 29/11/2007 09:54:50 |

| Alessi | RS04B | This is a great little coffee machine and it puts a smile on my face every time that I use it! The grinder is great for fresh coffee aroma, but you do have to use the machine regularly otherwise it gets full of old ground coffee that is past its best. One other small design problem is that after about two minutes milk frothing the steam will run out. At first, I thought there was a problem, but it actually meens that you just have to re-prime the system using the inbuilt motor. Otherwise fantastic - has run problem free for 6 years - plus it looks great in the kitchen. | | Pete Lee | 16/02/2007 18:07:01 |

| Kenwood | ES550 Cream | Fantastic machine enable to get the most from the smallest amount of coffee inserted. It does have some unrelavant defect, just because this machine can reproduce the expresso coffe made in Italian bar where the actually machine implemented cost £3,000 -> ++++ ..... , if u love EXPRESSO, then the result u`ll have will make u appreciate this machine,.... there are few little tricks to use for maintenance and to create the best coffee

| Gaggia | Lever G106 | This is not a machine that you can produce great coffee with straight out of the box - it takes a while to learn the best way... but once you do... Mamma Mia! | | Robin | 05/04/2005 21:09:22 |
