| DUALIT | 84036 | We were bought this percolator for Christmas and we absolutely love it. We use Douwe Egberts Decaffeinated Coffee in it and it works a treat. It looks great, its very simple to use, and very easy to clean. And the smell of freshly brewing coffee filling the kitchen is absolutely gorgeous ! I would definitely recommend this Percolator. | | Amazon Reviewer | 09/01/2009 01:01:01 |

| Delonghi | BC0255 | I have had this coffee maker for a year now and have not been disappointed with my purchase at all.
The filter coffee side is pretty much the same as any other, the hot plate is powerfull enough to keep a full pot at a good temperature.
My favourite part is the expresso maker. This I use this everyday whether its for an espresso, a latte or an americano. Delicious!
My supermarket always has some form of ground coffee on offer so it is low cost quality coffee unlike the cartridge type machines.
My only tiny gripe is the milk steamer. This tends to just heat the milk rather than froth it up like what you get in a coffee shop. Having said that it still makes a delicious latte.

| Delonghi | EN660 | I have had one of these machines since they were first released last year, but it is sadly with Nespresso being repaired at the moment - milk thermoblock developed a leak... What can I say:
1) if you make sure that your drinking vessel is warm (I normally run a lungo of hot water through the machine in to the glass and leave it there for a couple of minutes) and make sure that you are adding a little froth to the milk (there is a button on top of the milk container that controls the amount of froth) you should get a coffee that is TOO HOT to drink straight away - just as it should be. If your machine doesnt do this, you have either not pushed the milk container all the way (until it clicks) or have a faulty machine.
2) Nespresso service is excellent - I reported a problem with the machine and the next day I had a loan machine whilst they took mine away for repair.
3) The courier service they use to swap machines is not so good - I am now waiting in for the second day in a row to get my machine back...
4) If you are unsure, go to a Nespresso Boutique or John Lewis and get them to make you a coffee first - you will leave the store with a machine.
5) Look out for Nespresso cashback offers - Nespresso machines bought from Amazon are normally eligible, but check the fine print - details can be found on the nespresso site and there is a current offer that goes on until the end of January 2009. | | Amazon Reviewer | 16/12/2008 01:01:01 |

| magimix | M200 | Yes, the capsules are slightly more expensive than the alternatives - but the coffee is superb. I find it hard to fault ... and Im exceptionally fussy about coffee. By the way, this is MUCH better than Starbucks! :-)
The service from Nespresso is superb: ordering capsules, accessories or machine maintenance - everything is handled in a supremely professional manner. Delivery is super-fast. If your machine has a problem, they even lend you a replacement during repairs, so that youre not without your caffeine fix.
If youre doubting the coffee - which is what it is all about at the end of the day - pop along to your nearest stockist for a taste. I did, then I bought a machine very quickly!
Weve now been using ours for over 5 years with no regrets what so ever. | | Amazon Reviewer | 15/12/2008 01:01:01 |

| DUALIT | 84036 | We fell in love with this percolator at my parents house. It looks pretty, makes great tasting coffee, and is easy to use. And the coffee stays tasting fresh and hot for 24 hours! Bad news for my body though - I drank so much coffee that it didnt know what had hit it (I usually only drink 1 cup a day). | | Amazon Reviewer | 29/11/2008 01:01:01 |

| Micromark | MM52142 | I disagree. I think that this coffee maker is excellent. I have owned one for about a year and it is so good I decided to buy another for my workplace which has served me equally well. | | Amazon Reviewer | 23/11/2008 01:01:01 |

| DELONGHI | BAR 14 BLACK/CH | I am a fully trained barista and have been for 3 years so deal with top of the range industrial machines all the time. For a domestic machine this is the best i have had or used! Steam pressure is great all the time and the espresso runs through great with lovely crema. It doesnt take long in comparison to others to fully heat up!I have had no problems with it in the year i have had it. Yes its a bit noisey when actually making the espresso but that is only between 20 and 30 seconds and so is every domestic machine.I would recommend this machine to anybody! there are cheaper ones out there but this is worth the extra money as i have had two other cheaper ones that did not satisfy me at all! | | Amazon Reviewer | 10/11/2008 01:01:01 |

|
| Gaggia | 74507BCN | My tip: use coffee pods instead of grinding your own or using ready ground coffee. Cheaper, fresher and more convnient, plus no mess and no waste. Gaggia make their own pods, or alternatively you can buy other brands in most good supermarkets. | | Amazon Reviewer | 22/10/2008 01:01:01 |

|
| MORPHY RICHARDS | CAFE Rico Filter | I purchased one of these machines some years ago and having recently moved house, I needed to buy a new coffee maker.
So, knowing how Gaggia was a name so synonymous with coffee, I plumped for the Gaggia filter coffee machine. After weeks of trying and bags and bags of wasted coffee, all Ive ended up with is weak but bitter coffee with a plastic aftertaste.
Therefore Ive plumped for another of the Morphy Richards machines.
This constantly produces the nicest, richest filter coffees Ive yet found from a home machine and I cant recommend it enough for that very reason. The jug may drip but just deal with it. Seriously, try other coffee machines and youll be wishing you had the drip back! | | Amazon Reviewer | 19/10/2008 01:01:01 |

| siemens | TK911N2GB | Class machine
If you would like the best coffee machine for your kitchen or office then this is the machine for you. After reviewing many different types of coffee I have to say that the capsule system is by far the most user friendly system. The coffee is to COSTA and STARBUCKS standard and you have a large variety that enables you to find the one thats perfect for you and the family. This model requires very little cleaning and it can make a cup of coffee faster than you can make a cup of instant from a cold kettle. I have found the capsules easy to purchase from the online shop/club and the standard delivery arrived within two days. Best of all I found my machine at a ridiculously low price in my local Carlisle dealer last week £400 they have a few left as the capsules are now out of date. | Gaggia | Cubika | A nice bit of kit, simple to use; especially if you use the coffee pods which make for minimal cleaning of the machine after use.Looks great & not to Hi-tech just has what you need to make excellent cappucino or espresso. | | wilbur | 12/05/2004 08:52:33 |

| Gaggia | Cubika | This coffee machine is a very durable, sturdy and well made machine. It doesnt do any high-tech fancy things, it just does the business which it was designed for, making a good cup of coffee. A nice touch is the heat plate for cups. This is a simple basic machine from which all other coffee machines should be made from. | | Paul Dowey | 12/01/2004 15:09:08 |

| bosch | TAS4013GB | This machine is simplicity itself and makes a great cup of coffee every time. Only disappointing feature is that the pods are not as easy to find in local supermarkets as the sales team would have you believe | | DB | 03/12/2008 08:16:13 |

| Gaggia | Cubika | Why now days all manufactures of electronic equipement, all they worry about is SALES!, what about the AFTER SALES SERVICE! by giving some information a bout were can you get the on/off switches and why the above swt fails so much, where can you get a wiring diagram of the swts?. To find some of the above information, I had to phone Italia. They were very helpful and informed me of where to get them. I wanted to replace the three swts and I made a diagram of the wiring but my wife managed to through away the A4 page. The local Gaggia agent says that THER IS NOT A DIAGRAM! OR SEVICE MANUAL!. I`m in the service dep. of an electronics company and I never had such big problem in order to effect a repair. So what should I do next?, dont tell me to bring the machine to the agent`s work shop were I will be charged E???.??. | | AFTER SALES SERVICE | 30/06/2008 08:14:48 |

| Gaggia | Baby Class | I have the baby class D. I`ve used it with very fine ground coffee (from my own grinder), as well as Gaggia preground. I think it works very well, if you do as it says in the instruction book, which is don`t tamp hard. If you do, the coffee gets a strange burnt taste and the crema reduces. Do as it says and it produces a really good espresso coffee (I am italian by the way so know what a good espresso tastes like). As for the company, I have had nothing but helpful friendly people. I did buy a machine that didn`t work well and they replaced without argument. | | Ron C | 15/04/2008 09:59:20 |

| DUALIT | Espresso 889 | Gosh, I love my Dualit coffee maker. I`ve owned this one for a year or two and am looking at buying another as a wedding present. Makes super duper coffee, with minimum fuss. I particularly like the fact that the water tank is a lift in/out jobbie which means no scalded hands, no drips or mess. Most of the people I know who have one of these agree that using ready ground coffee seems to provide a better cup of coffee... and we all seem to agree that it`s rather a noisy one but then we haven`t really compared it with others available so I suppose we`re being a bit unfair. Nice and compact and looks sleek too. Good old Dualit! | | John | 20/01/2008 17:35:42 |

| RUSSELL HOBBS | 10799 satin | This coffee maker is brilliant!!! I think it`s discontinued now, which is depressing because the glass carafes are rubbish, I had one shatter on me once. I have been using this for over 3 years now, no problems at all. Makes gorgeous coffee, very easy to use once you get used to it. I could do it in my sleep now. Only suggestion is make sure you use one of those limescale satchets every few months, and to get the coffee stains out of the carafe use baking soda. Lovely dubbly, definitely recommend if you can find one!!! | | Nefi | 17/07/2007 12:30:09 |

| KENWOOD | BrewMaster | I bought my first one just before Christmas for £19.99 at Morrison`s. We now use a variety of loose teas and ground coffee. It is the easiest machine to use and so easy to clean. I went to Morrison`s today and bought their last one at the same price. I shall use it for early morning tea and take it with me when we go away with our caravan. I think the safety aspect alone is a major factor. There is no handling of boiling water. | TEFAL | 8697.25P BL/SIL | Had this for xmas 2003, it has been used at least 3 times a day every day since, makes coffee quickly, tastes great easy to clean. | SIEMENS | TC55002 (Blue) | I bought it in Germany for £350 (Jan 2003). It is fabulous and beautifully built. You will never touch Nescrappe or similar again. At last I have got the taste that you get in Starbuck etc. You must buy one. Do not buy in UK-buy abroad and save approx £200. | SWAN | Teasmade | I was astonished to see how much trouble others have had with this teasmade. We have never had a problem in the many years we have had it, though I agree the pot does not pour well. It is the second we have owned and both were reliable and saw us through the early years of our three children when the early cuppa was a godsend. This one is seeing us nicely through our middle age desire to lie in! We find it particularly useful with herbal tea (`Morning Time` which really perks you up)as all you need is your mug with a spoonful of honey - we always found the milk`d go off overnight when we had ordinary tea. | | herbalteafan | 17/12/2008 10:44:22 |
