| Acctons EtherHub 1500+ System contains two 16-port Ethernet hub models - the EtherHub-16i+ and EtherHub-16mi+. Both hubs are designed around a multi-segment architecture, and conform to the IEEE 802.3 (10BASE-T) standard. The EtherHub-16mi+, which includes an SNMP management agent, can also be used to manage an EtherHub stack. This system advances stackable hubs to a new level by providing a configurable multi-segment architecture, fault-tolerant capabilities, and easier installation.Multiple segments in the EtherHub 1500+ System can be connected in a single stack, separating the hubs into three or more collision domains. This makes the system more flexible, improves load balancing, and provides better network bandwidth utilization. The EtherHub-16mi+ monitors and controls various network components of the EtherHub 1500+ system, and can manage up to 10 stacked hubs (170 station ports) in a multi-segment environment.
