Quite an expensive toy, but my daughter really wanted to try it. So I bought the starter kit. It compares with the famous Hama Beads, but doesnt need adult assistance to finalise the model the child has made. The beads are coated with an extremely bitter, water activated glue. They form rather weak bonds when wet. So each model doesnt last very long, compared to Hama Beads. Reasonable, but rather expensive fun for a child.
There really should be at least twice as many beads in this pack.

Keeps the kids happy and quiet for hours, and because they like it so much, they dont want to lose any of the wee balls so they run after them if they fall off the table...making it nice and easy to clean up. I much prefer the idea of water sticking the beads together...I was never really happy using my good iron to melt plastic!
