| MICROSOFT | Office Access 2003 | Access is the best database for a PC. If Access cant do it, then you should not be using a PC. However, a word of warning. Beyond very simple datbases, Access has a VERY steep learning curve and requires considerable skill with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to get the best out of it. The results are worth the time and effort though. | | Amazon Reviewer | 21/10/2005 01:01:01 |

| MICROSOFT | SQL Server 2000 Developer Edition | You might be wondering what exactly is in the developers edition. Well essentially, its the full thing with an EULA that states you cant use it for production. SQL Server is the greatest database for its price on the market. Period. Every SME would do well to give this product some consideration. All I can advise is buy this developer pack in junction with Visual C# .NET and ask your boss for some time to experiment with the products. If after a month you cant find 20 reasons why your existing business process wouldnt benefit from being implemented in SQL server/C# .NET then Id gladly eat my hat. SQL server is the best grand youll ever spend. | | Amazon Reviewer | 01/07/2004 01:01:01 |
