| Maisto | Die-cast Model Cagiva Mito 125 (1:18 scale in Red) | This is an extreme fun bike to play, I know this because I have the same copy and I play with it on a toy track I made myself. | | Jaon | 22/07/2009 12:50:33 |

| Corgi | Diecast Model Ford Consul (Anniversary Edition) in Brown | `For a pure novelty its a good buy but I would rather have seen a brand new casting of the Consul`. LOL! What a whinger! Great to see this car reproduced as the Corgi Gods intended! unmolested & ORIGINAL! | | In The Know | 25/03/2009 15:41:20 |

| IXO | Renault Siete TL (1975) in Green (1:43 scale) | The slightly odd looking Siete which means 5 in spanish was built as the saloon is seen as more upmarket on the continent. So the five door hatch backed 5 was converted to a decent but dumpy looking saloon car. It didnt sell very well as spanish Renault hoped and was shelved after around 5 years. So I would think even in its native spain these mk 1 Renault 5s are quite rare. Ixo have done a brilliant job with this model and managed a very good level of detail. | | Amazon Reviewer | 16/07/2007 01:01:01 |

| Maisto | Range Rover Sport (Playerz) in Metallic Orange | A really cool, shiny grill. It has 4 tvs inside. Nice big, metal rims. Cool boot. 3 opening doors including the boot.Trendy orange/black seats. Nice detail. Smooth paint job. Nice shiny exhausts. Cool back lights. Multi-coloured engine. I think you should buy this. | | Amazon Reviewer | 15/04/2007 01:01:01 |

| Sun Star | Diecast Model Ford Escort Mark II 1600 Sport (1975) in White | The now classic Escort MK2 was an evolution of the MK1 with its new boxy body shell on the MK1 chassis for 1975. For its time it wasnt cutting edge but it did outsell the MK1 by a large extent as it captured the 70s look. The engineering of the MK2 was just as basic as the MK1 with its crude leaf springs to its Pinto based engines which drove the rear wheels. The sport was a little faster with its mildly tuned 1600 engine which was also fitted to the MK4 Cortina. By todays standards the MK2 was very basic but easy to repair and customize. Sun Star have done a brilliant job with this model right down to the garish trim to the styled steel wheels. The suspension hight seems to sit to low but otherwise this is only a minor gripe on an otherwise nice model. Its a must buy for the Ford fan and model collector alike ! , I would like to see a Drop Snoot RS2000 version as well though. | | Amazon Reviewer | 17/04/2007 01:01:01 |

| Corgi | Diecast Model Ford Consul (Anniversary Edition) in Brown | The Original Ford Consul which pre-dated the larger Granada/Consul was a huge hit for Ford in the 1950s. So It wasnt long before the then Mettoy company which reformed later to become Corgi. Produced this Consul which for its time was a very good well made toy and is now worth a decent ammount of money. Corgi inn there wisdom saw fit to reproduce this toy as part of there 50th anniversary range in 2006. However what with the high price and that this hasnt even been updated in any way. Corgi have failed to sell any of there special range including this toy. For a pure novelty its a good buy but I would rather have seen a brand new casting of the Consul. | | Amazon Reviewer | 26/09/2007 01:01:01 |

| Minichamps | Diecast Model Ford Sierra RS Cosworth (1988) in Black | Not a toy of course, but a detailed model. Looks good, working steering etc. Prompt and quick dispatch by MiniModelCars. Alternative is the AutoArt Sierra Cosworth, but it was around twice the price. | | Amazon Reviewer | 18/06/2007 01:01:01 |

| Unbranded | VW Porsche 914 | Came 1st in class and 6th overall at Le Mans. This car handles phenomenally well. I can fit all my camping and cycling gear for a weekend away, including my bike inside this car, and still take the roof off. It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. | | Guy | 18/12/2005 16:14:38 |

| Jadi | 1:18 Scale Lotus Elise 111S | Great value model with reasonable detail all over. Accuracy and finish are very good, the engine cover even has a support for when it's open.
It loses marks for the removable roof, which looks plastic and leaves two obvious holes when not in place. The detailing on the brake discs isn't great either if you're going to be picky.
The interior is complete even down to seatbelts. Headlights and tail lights are beautifully crafted and the indicator side repeaters are glass-like, not painted on. Some of AutoArt's £40-£50 models can't boast that. | | spikyone | 22/02/2004 12:45:51 |

| Maisto | Porsche 911 GT1 Le Mans (1998) | After being disappointed with Maisto's XJ220 in comparison with AutoArt and Minichamps etc, I was very surprised at the level of quality on the GT1! Good paint, well modelled, nice carbon fibre detailing. Sits well with my other Porsche racing models! | | Nookieball | 13/12/2003 12:41:03 |

| Ferrari | 250 GT Berlinetta SWB | Did own this car and sent it back because I found defect as to hood scoop. As you hold this model with the front pointed upward toward ceiling, you can see that one end of hood scoop is shorter from base to apex than the other end on the opposite side, as you look downward, focused toward the scoop. I also have issues with website images that do not correctly represent the actual model in color detail. As an example, I have observed that several website images depict the brake calipers in the color red when in fact the actual model you receive will be in silver. Their also remains a concern as to the correct plumbing of the brake lines. I would gladly pay more money, if that`s what it takes to buy a model of this caliber with zero defects! Enzo would be rolling over in his grave if he knew that his product was flawed by the hands of others. | | Reviewer | 14/02/2008 10:40:05 |

| AutoArt | Die-cast Model BMW 635 CSi M Series (1:18 scale in Silver) | The now legendary BMW 6-Series launched back in 1977 was BMWs new super coupe. It was there answer to the Mercedes SEC of the era and as a mobile hi-tech testing showcase for BMW. The 6-litre M was the top of the range and was and still is the collectors car of the series. With its powerful engine to the leather trim to the other hi-tech gadgets fitted. The 635 was finally replaced by the 8-series in 1989 just showing how popular it was. This 1.18th Autoart model I have to say is more Window dressing than content given the high purchase price. The presentation box is brilliant and gives this a feel of quality if only that were true !. The casting is accurate and so is the paintwork and trim , but the level of plastic used is the sticking point. Its a very light and flimsy model with over 50% being made of cheap plastic. I would expect there at least to be a diecast chassis and working suspension. If Autoart were to lower the price to say £20 this oversight wouldnt be a problem. This is the reason Im forced to only give this model 2 stars which is a real shame !. | | Amazon Reviewer | 20/11/2007 01:01:01 |
