I have used this camera for over 1 year now with excellent results. I take over 4000 pics per year and found this model is equiped for all subjects. The 8x zoom works really well at gigs, in conjunction with a really strong flash (unlike other models i have had the misfortune to try). I would recommend this to anyone. It is simple and comfortable to use. Personally i feel with Olympus you cant go wrong generally, but have to say this is the best and most reliable camera i have owned.

Also the speed my order was delivered from amazon was outstanding i am realy looking forward to getting out and about with my new camera i am sure it will benift me in my photgraphy pursuits

Compared to many of the cameras on the market this is much better than cameras a lot more expensive. Although the camera only has 3 Million Pixels it has an 8x zoom (optical which means real, not digital!), this means that you do not need as many pixels to get a clear picture of something in the distance. I have already recommended this item to a few of my friends who are looking for a similar item. If you do not mind the slightly larger size of this camera compared to many digital cameras out there then I think you will be extremely satisfied. Other than the size of the camera I could find absolutely no faults and it is very easy to use.
