So much in such a little camera. I love the simplicity and the size of this camera the best I have ever purchased very happy!

I ordered my MJU 1040 from Amazon around January but did not use it till May. The pictures were atrocious but as it was beyond the first month I could not return it. To be fair to Olympus they did examine the camera and found a problem which they repaired. There is a big improvement but it still does not handle bright backgrounds very well eg bright sky. Yes there are compensation schemes but I am still unhappy with the pictures. I dont know whether this camera is worse than other cameras in its class. Overall I am still not happy with it and I regret that I did not purchase the more expensive Canon, which I have been very happy with in the past

Very poor picture quality. Bought to replace Olympus 2mp and the old camera takes far, far superior pictures than this; works fine indoors but outdoors pictures are less than crisp (no matter what setting you use) and the colours are just awful. Dont buy.

This camera is excellent. Very easy to use with touch pad functions. Very compact....will fit easily into your pocket or handbag.
The camera switches on instantly as soon as the lens cover is moved down, so no fiddly buttons to locate.
Quality of pictures are excellent and it copes well with fast moving images.
Robustly built. Various colours of this model are available to match your taste.
